A fresh start with Jesus Christ begins with true repentance.
True repentance is acknowledging what you did wrong, leaving it behind, and not doing it again.
It goes beyond feeling sad, remorseful, guilty, or dejected. It is acknowledging, deciding not to return to the old habit, and acting by demonstrating change that transforms the soul.
True repentance is not, "I should not do this or that." It is, "I am changed, and I am not returning to my sins anymore." It is, "I am dead to my sin and alive in Jesus Christ!"
"…..repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, your children, and all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:38-39).
Ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins. Confess your sins to Jesus Christ. Ask Jesus Christ to save you. Believe that you are saved. Declare Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10, verses 8 to 13).Grow your relationship with Jesus (1
